chocolate peanut butter chip cookies.. um YES

Last night I decided to make my yummy chocolate peanut butter chip cookies.
These delicious little gems are probably my favourite recipe since everyone LOVES them and I get a secret gratification when someone loves my baking.
I did not make this recipe up but I've been doing it for a while now and they have sort of become the "Melanie cookie".
Since I love all of you, I will give out the recipe but with some careful searching you can definitely find it online.
So if you want to impress that special someone or suck up to your co-workers, teacher etc. I highly suggest you make these.. it brings everyone to the yard...actually though.

Here is what you need:

  • 1 cup butter (mmmm)
  • 1 1/2 cups of white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup of cocoa powder
  • 3/4 tsp of baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • a bag of Reese peanut butter chips
  1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease cookie sheets
  2. In a large-ish bowl cream the butter and the sugar
  3. Stir in eggs and vanilla
  4. Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt
  5. Stir it up real good haha till its all creamy and mixed together
  6. Empty the bag of Reese peanut butter chips and fold it together with the mixture
  7. Your batter may be a little soft, I usually put it in the fridge for about 10-15 min so it hardens
  8. Roll batter into little balls on cookie sheet, make sure there is space in between each cookie
  9. Bake for 8 min ( this may seem short but I like to take them out at this time so they are really soft on the inside even after they cool down)
  10. Let cookies cool down
  11. ENJOY!

I finally used my new cookie wire rack my mom got me from Pampered Chef! I love it! I highly recommend anything from the line if you are a baker.

Speaking of Pampered Chef, I ordered a TON of it (thanks to my mom) and it is supposed to arrive today! YAY

TGIF!
