I love finding an excuse to bake and since I've been living here in this tiny town, those excuses have become more frequent haha.
I decided to spoil my valentine last night with a tasty dinner which was followed by some lovely dessert. I made "red velvet" cheesecake brownies that I found on Pinterest and they were delicious but they definitely didn't turn out very red haha. If you do make them.. make sure to put a LOT of red food colouring.
I also decided last minute to make chocolate covered strawberries since it was so easy.

Those look so tasty! It's crazy how much red food coloring it takes to make something chocolate look red. When I was making red velvet cupcakes the recipe said to use an entire container of red food coloring.
