sleepless in seattle

As some of you may know, my boyfriend and I recently took a roadtrip to Seattle & Vancouver a few weeks ago and I thought I should document some of my photos from the first leg of our trip. I cannot even begin to describe to you how beautiful Seattle is. I have always wanted to go so it really was one of those tick off the bucket list adventures. Although we were only there for a short time, I realized why so many people visit every year!
I don't think any trip to Seattle is complete without the trip to Pike Place Market. Thankfully our hotel was a short walk away. Honestly, I am so jealous of all you Seattle dwellers that get to actually take home some of the gorgeous looking food and flowers. Everything is so fresh and tempting!
Also with being such a Starbucks fan, I had to visit the first one right in Pike Place. Thankfully, we chose a good time and there wasn't really a line to get in! (Expect a big line!).
We also took a nice trip downtown (great shopping I might add) and along the water to the aquarium ( my boyfriend is addicted to them haha).
On our way out of the city, we decided to take a trip to see Kurt Cobain's house where he so tragically died. There is a bench in a park right outside his house that is covered in messages from fans. It was really a surreal moment seeing how he has impacted so lives to this day. Honestly it is such a shame he died so young.
Last but not least, we then took a trip to visit the University of Washington (a blogger friend had suggested we go visit, Thanks TJ!) Now let me tell you, I went to a pretty gorgeous school myself (Queens University) so I know a beautiful school when I see one. This one was definitely worth visiting. It made me feel a bit nostalgic as I saw so many groups of nervous soon to be students touring the campus. AHHH to be YOUNG again haha.

If you ever get the chance to visit Seattle I highly suggest you do so! So many great things to see, not to mention the amazing food! I definitely was in vacation mode when I was there!

Unfortunately, I was doing so many outdoorsy things in Vancouver that I didn't get the chance to take as many photos as I could! But check out my Vancouver outfit post here as well as my Instagram!
