wardrobe essential: the camel coat

coat: aritzia // shirt: UO (older but similar below) // pants: h&m // shoes: aldo (older)

There is something so timeless about a camel coat. I got this one last year and although it was quite the investment for me, I don't regret it at all. I don't wear it nearly as much as I should since I live in a pretty casual place but come the new year when I live in a city that will surely change! It's just one of those pieces that will stand the test of time and will forever be in style.
I thought for this outfit it would be fun to pair a really feminine piece such as the coat with a more masculine edge like the plaid and leather. I love the contrast, what do you guys think?

Have a great Monday!

  7. Seeing as how you get so much use out of your coats, I think they're worthy investments!

I also just posted an outfit with very similar pants from H&M and wouldn't have thought to pair them with a plaid shirt like you did. I kept it simple with all black. I will have to give this a shot when I wear them next.
