Happy almost 2014!

When it comes to New Years, I'm usually pretty prepared. Any excuse for me to dress up and add a bit of sparkle I'm in! This year however, my holiday plans were very last minute and I didn't really get a chance to think about what I was going to wear. You can never really go wrong with a LBD in my books and I recently found the perfect one that had a bit of edge with the sleeves. Just add a statement necklace and some heels and you're good to go! 

I've also featured my hair up in this post because i'm determined to have it up more often this year, let's say its one of my New Years resolutions. I'm always asked why I don't put it up and the honest truth is that I feel much better with it down. 

So what are your plans for New Years? I'm going to Disney with the fam during the day and then coming home and getting ready and having a low key time. I haven't spent the holiday with my siblings in a few years so it will be a nice change.
