Moroccanoil Body {Review}

I've been a big fan of Moroccanoil hair products for a long time so when I was introduced to their Moroccanoil body collection I was super excited to see if it would hold up to the same reputation. The result? After using both these products religiously for the past few weeks.. I LOVE them!

Intense Hydrating Treatment ($27 CAN)

If you're used to using the argan oil treatment for your hair you'll love this product. It's pretty much the same product but for your body. It's a skin treatment infused with argan oil and other natural botanicals for dry skin and skin that's affected by the change in seasons (UGH WINTER).
All you have to do is use this 1-2 times a week and concentrate on the rough, dry areas such as knees, elbows and heels. I especially liked using it as a bath oil over these past few weeks. It's also great on dry hands! My favourite part? The smell! It's smells super spa-like and has a honey lavender scent. I've used it for a few weeks and it's lasted a really long time so the price is worth it in my opinion.

Body Butter ($52 CAN)

Now when it comes to the body butter, I have quite a lover affair with it. It's super luxurious and unlike other body butters, it actually has the consistency of butter without the greasy feel. It is a concentrated body cream with a blend of argon, shea, cocoa and mango butter that melt together to sooth and soften and improve the elasticity of your skin. The cream also has a formula of olive, avocado and pomegranate oils which contain antioxidants that help build up your skin's natural defense and moisture repair.
All skin types can use it and you can achieve best results by using it immediately after showering. Over the past few weeks, I've actually looked forward to putting this on everyday because it leaves your skin smooth all day even in the driest of climates (aka: Alberta). The smell is also super luxurious which of course I expected with the Moroccanoil line. My boyfriend even mentioned it smelt really nice which was a huge plus. Although the price is a tad steep in terms of body butters, It's a huge difference you can definitely feel. The only negative thing I'll give the butter is that the packaging is a tad heavy but other than that it's great!
