the pixie pant

jacket: c/o: old navy // tee: gap // pants: c/o: old navy // heels: aldo

I have a confession to make...
I have a really hard time finding pants that fit! I have a pretty small waist but my hips don't match (or lie hah) and get in the way! The result? A gap in the back of my pants or jeans which is never fun since I have to get them tailored 90% of the time.

I did however, find pants that fit perfectly! Old Navy introduced me to the Pixie pant and I'm in love! They have the perfect amount of stretch and are super flattering! They also come in the cutest colours and patterns which make it great for work and play. I fell in love with this pattern because there was something vintage looking about them, like a 70's patterned wallpaper (in the best way possible!). At first, I thought it might be hard to pair them with things but I thought that the key to pulling off these pants is to think simple. A basic white tee is the best way to style such a bold print in my opinion!

How would you style a bold print? OH and.. Happy Friday!

  2. I have the same problem with pants - my butt is too big and never fits into anything that might fit my waist! So frustrating! I've been wanting to try the pixie pants for a while, but they're always sold out on the website in my size! Love the ones you're styling today! You look amazing!

  4. These pants are so fun and are perfect on you!! I have the pixie pant in solid black and also in the black & white tuxedo stripe, and I can't wait to wear them more once we can actually wear shoes here! I find them hard to pair with boots but know they will become a total staple in my work-wear once I can pair them with cute flats or pumps. Speaking of which, LOVE your pumps! The metallic heel is awesome!
