Scallop detailing seems to be everywhere lately.
I've seen it on countless items but what really got me into the detail were these Gap shorts. They're just so unbelievably cute, how can one resist? This girl could not! My reasoning? I don't own a scalloped pair of shorts ;)
I thought it would be fun to pair these shorts with a fun blouse. It's funny, I became completely obsessed with this blouse a few months ago because of the fun details but despite wearing it quite often, I haven't featured it on the blog until now! You know you have a lot of clothes when... hahah. Also in classic Melanie style the outfit needed a pop of colour and in came my favourite shade of red (NARS heatwave) and my bright clutch. There you have it my friends, a classic outfit with some fun details!
