brrrrrr

coat: zara (recent) // turtleneck: joe fresh // jeans: gap // cape: topshop (worn as a scarf) // beanie: joe fresh // shoes: jeffrey campbell

As predicted, the cold has returned to the wild west. I knew it was too good to be true but it was great while it lasted. As some of you may know, it can be kind of difficult to look cute and warm on these super cold days especially when you need to take style post pictures! This was my attempt to look cute and warm...the coffee didn't hurt either of course.
Believe it or not, this oversized scarf is actually a cape! I've been so obsessed with capes and anything oversized lately and the moment I saw this one at Topshop I knew it had to be mine. The colour is so perfect... I love how you can just wear it as a scarf if the cape isn't your thing.  Dual uses my friends!

We have such a long winter season and I'm one of those people that can get pretty sad when its so dark and cold out. I've been meaning to get out of the city for a while and I can't wait for these next two weeks to be over because I'll be heading to Banff! I haven't been to the mountains in a while and although I'm not a huge outdoorsy person I've agreed to go snowshoeing! haha Am I the only one who finds that super exciting? If any of you have any tips I'd love to know!

  2. I guess the warm weather was bound to come to an end. At least it's an excuse to bust out these killer winter pieces, right?
