nori dress

The shift dress has always been something I've been wary of. It's just not a silhouette I am comfortable with since I have curves and trying to hide them almost emphasizes them (if that makes sense?). I'm also not a huge fan of my legs and it's like the shift dress knows of this insecurity and laughs in my face!

However.....

This shift dress from Aritzia though is pretty much a game changer.
When I received it I was initially scared because of my above insecurities but when I tried it on it was so fun and the colour is so on point. It's something I know will be a closet staple this summer while running errands, patio drinking or just hanging out. Thank you to Aritzia for having a shift dress that I'm not afraid of! :)

What do you think about shift dresses? How do you style them? I'd love to know!

  3. I totally know what you mean about these insecurities. I typically gravitate towards more of an A-line dress that's fitted on top and flares out at the bottom, rather than a fitted shift dress.

That said, I absolutely LOVE this one on you and think it's really flattering!!

  4. Hi! I love this dress and have been debating whether to get it or not (I have curves too). If you don't mind me asking, what size did you get?
    Thanks! :)
