a few of my favourite things...

It's only been in the last year that I've really upped my beauty product game.
I'm not sure if it's because I work dangerously close to Sephora or the fact that I have some good beauty blogger friends in my circle. I mean, I know these products aren't necessarily "beauty" products but these are some of my favourite...

Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream/Shower Gel: I cannot even stress to you how much I love this stuff! I saw it a few months back as a tester by cash (so deadly) and I instantly fell in love with how amazing the smell was. I'm not a "scent" kind of girl, I like really natural scents but I cannot even describe how good this smells. I put it on in the morning and get compliments of how good I smell throughout the day. Plus, it's supposed to help tighten your bum bum and of course the rest of your bod! What's not to like? Gift Set- Sephora $69 (the gift set is such a good deal, if you buy them separately it's $90!)

Bumble and Bumble BB Full Potential Shampoo + Conditioner + Booster Spray- I have very fine hair thats quite hard to manage and prone to breakage. The years of styling and blow drying has taken a toll as well. My hairdresser recommended I use this line and I've been using it for over a month and LOVE it.  It claims to help you keep the hair you have and give you fuller, healthier hair. I have definitely noticed a difference, I feel like my hair has so much more life now. If you read reviews online, a lot of users don't like the smell but I think it has an amazing smell. I would say it has a masculine smell to it, kind of like a nice cologne. The booster spray is great too, it gives some much needed volume ;)
Shampoo - $38, Conditioner - $42, Spray - $70, Sephora

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo - As a brunette, finding the right dry shampoo is essential. I've gone through so many and have been so disappointed with the white residue on my locks (not attractive). This one not only makes my hair look clean and smell great but NO white residue! PERFECT! $29, Sephora

What are some of your favourites lately? I'd love to know! Have you tried any of these products?

  1. Yesssss. I love bumble & bumble products! I recently started using the mending line of shampoo/conditioner because I went a little heat happy and it made SUCH a huge difference in healing my hair! I'll have to check out this line next :)
