Top two rows: Sperry Top-Sider // Bottom row: Aldo
I've always admired boat shoes.. especially on guys. I just love the preppy laid back feel they have. Lately I've been thinking of getting a pair for myself, and it really seems they are everywhere. The first brand I think about when I think boat shoes is of course Sperry but Aldo also has a great selection that are a tad more feminine as well.
The thing that is holding me back from buying a pair is I don't necessarily know what to pair them with. The first thing that comes to mind are trousers or chino type pants. I just don't know if my body type would look good if I wore them with shorts since I suffer from short stubby leg syndrome as I'd like to call it haha but who knows.
Here are some pictures of some ladies rocking the boat shoes,
What do you think about boat shoes? What would you pair them with?
I'd love to know your opinions!

Can't go wrong with a classic pair of Sperry's!
ReplyDeleteSperry Top-siders are hard as hell to break in, just to let you know. Bloody heels for weeks. It is worth it though :)
ReplyDeleteHate to admit to being a cheap-skate but I've had a pair of boat shoes from Primark for nearly 2years! ...I always wear them with leggings and shorts, if you get a pastel colour you can chuck them on and they won't drown out your outfit!
ReplyDeleteAlso, began my blog today; http://flourishblogs.blogspot.co.uk/ as many subscribers as possible would be appreciated!
xx
they´re lovely :)

I love all of these picks! They're just so summery. I really want a pair myself :)
ReplyDeleteI read your post on my phone a couple days ago, and made a mental note to comment later. I put my boat shoes on this morning and then thought, I was supposed to comment! haha. So here I am. You should get boat shoes! I wear mine with everything. :)
