embracing fall colours

I did some shopping on the weekend (I have a problem I know, but the first step to recovery is ACCEPTANCE!) and got a few fall essentials including these lovely oxblood coloured pants. 
I've really begun to embrace the colder temperatures and I'm trying to stay positive for my sanity. It's still decently warm out here in the wild wild west but I know by October it will definitely be getting cold. Luckily for me I'll be going back to Ontario to see my family for a few days and hopefully it will still be warm there!

    I really love the colour of these pants.

    My shopping habits always get out of hand as soon as the fall stock comes in. It's quite bad. I've been holding off on dipping into the fall wardrobe because it's been so warm here, but now that the pumpkin spice latte is out I'm feeling like it's tooootallly okay to bust out the fall clothes ;)

    That’s such an interesting color name haha but I absolutely love it! I feel like it’d add such a subtle pop of color to any look- and I especially love it combined with navy. And im right there with you- while everyone’s talking about hot coco and sweaters I want the summer to stay. I’m not ready to part with my dresses 

    Gem tones & polka dots are some fall trends that make it easy for the transition from warm to cold weather... so that's what I'm wearing in the meantime.
