I was recently asked by West 49 to check out their new Spring collection and I jumped to the challenge! I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to ditch the Winter blues that we often get stuck in. I will admittedly say that I go to West 49 quite often but it's usually to help the boyfriends clothing needs and not my own.

I was pleasantly surprised at the selection for women and it was a lot of fun going through all the colourful pieces. One thing I loved about the shopping experience was all the neon colours and the way the clothing was displayed.

I decided to go with this great Billabong dress that immediately caught my attention for the fun "aztec" pattern. I cannot wait for it to be warm enough to wear it without layers! I also picked up this neutral Element sweater that I think is the perfect Spring/Summer staple and could easily go with any outfit. 

Overall shopping at West 49 was a very eye opening experience. I realized a store I had previously thought was only a certain look (skater/surfer) actually had a lot of fun, affordable and well made pieces for my style! I already have a list of must buys for the next time I'm in town! Like this!
