updated grunge

I don't know about you guys, but I've noticed a huge return of the 90's punk/grunge look lately. I am no expert in the look but I think it's possible to pull off! Well let's be honest, any excuse to wear plaid I'm totally down for. The key to the look in my opinion is to look comfortable yet kinda bad-ass. I tied a old plaid shirt to my waist and kept the rest of my outfit pretty neutral with the exception of my killer JC boots.

What do you guys think of the return of the 90's punk/grunge look? What goes around comes around right?

    Oh gosh, this brings me back to my 90's days, for sure, and makes me think of the show Blossom! ;) I actually just noticed a few photos on pinterest over the weekend with plaid shirts tied around waists and I definitely am digging the laid back cool vibe it lends to an outfit! You look super cute!

    I think I'm digging this return of grunge as well. I wore something quite similar today to work, now that I think about it.

    However, I didn't have boots that were as killer as those ones. I am in LOVE!! Did you get them from JC directly, or somewhere else, like Brown's?? I think I need to see those bad boys in person.
