Over the past few days I've conquered the very annoying task of clearing out my summer items and replenishing them with the winter items. Although it is a sad process to see the light airy things go in storage, it's fun to see all the things you have for the colder months. It almost feels like they are new again since it's been a while since they were last worn. For example, this polka dot sweater I got surprisingly here in my tiny town is something I absolutely love and totally forgot about. I'm currently in this really big polka dot mood lately and I really don't know how it happened. I usually think the print is a little too girly for my taste but I have a new found love for it.
Also, yes it is scarf weather here in the wild west. I love scarves but I really didn't want to bust them out so soon but it's completely necessary now. I'm not too sure if I should bring them home tomorrow or not since the current weather is around 20 degrees. I am staying till early to mid November though so who knows. I'm so excited to be home! It really hasn't hit me yet!
I am hoping to update the blog frequently but my lack of photographer might prove to be a tad difficult. Bear with me y'all!
Happy weekending! x

Okay, leopard and polka dots may be my new favorite combo! This looks amazing girl! I just swapped out all of my summer stuff for my fall/winter wardrobe a couple weekends ago, and it's like getting new clothes! Crazy how you can forget some of the items you have once they're stored away :)

I absolutely love this sweater!! And it pairs perfectly with the leopard print scarf and those chunky heeled booties.
ReplyDeleteYou get to go home for so long!! That'll be so much fun, have an amazing trip :)
It really is sad putting away summer clothes, but I'm so ready for the cooler weather. The polka dot sweater is such a win and I love that you threw your scarf into the mix. P.S. I'm so jealous you can pull off bright red lipstick. You seriously wear it so well.
