winter layers

Do you ever feel like you have absolutely nothing to wear? 

I feel this every so often even though I KNOW I have plenty to wear, almost too much to wear (see, bf I can admit it sometimes!). Whenever I'm feeling in the fashion funk I try to make my older items take a new life. This dress last seen here is one of my favourite summer purchases and I knew upon buying it that I could wear it in all seasons. For some reason I haven't worn it since it got pretty cold but I decided to layer it with my go to Gap sweater and went with coloured tights for a different look. I'm not really a layering girl but I actually like the way this all turned out. I'm always worried I'll look too bulky but my fears were just in my head as always. 

Do you guys have any tips for when you're feeling in the fashion funk? I'd love to know!
