Ahh.. as you know I can't resist a good suit. 

I walked by this suit a few times and finally decided to give it a try and I was very pleasantly surprised. When I initially saw the pants they looked so long and I thought they would need to be hemmed. I'm quite short (5'5) and surprisingly they were the perfect length (with heels). I've actually never tried on a suit this comfortable in my entire life. I was also shocked to see that it was under $250 and both pieces are machine washable... like what? I've had my share of suits and I have honestly never seen anything close to machine washable. I'm definitely going to get the black version of these pants. I think they'd be so cute with a white tee!  

In other news, it's crazy how a good outfit can lift your spirits. For me, when I wear something I feel good in I temporarily forget what makes me upset and my mood lifts. I feel like you can totally see it in my face. I've been feeling a bit down lately and just hard on myself as usual. I feel like I sometimes gravitate towards things that I know will make me upset in the long run and I continue to do it. Whether it's look at social media and becoming envious or letting myself get in situations where I feel like I'm being taken advantage of. I often have to remind myself to not take life so seriously and just enjoy what I have in the moment. It's a constant battle for me though but I'm trying and I understand what needs to change. It's just getting there thats the problem.
