refined puffy vest

If you had told the younger version of me that her 25 year old self would be wearing a puffy vest she would have thought you were crazy. The puffy vest seems to keep coming back every year in massive quantities and for some reason I've never been a fan (fun fact: I've also never been a fan of FLEECE either, I can't even touch it haha). All that changed when I saw a longer version at Forever 21. Suddenly, the longer version felt much more like me and much more "refined". It's also super warm and allowed me to walk around with just this! Sounds silly but for anyone who lives out west knows that it is quite the luxury with all the FREEZING temperatures we've been having.

I'm just so excited for the weekend to start. I'm escaping small town life for another small town but with a big difference... mountains! I'm off to the Jasper Park Lodge for the boyfriend's Christmas party and spending the night. I'm so excited to dress up and be surrounded by beautiful mountains!
