When I look at these photos I cannot believe I somehow got out of bed and had the effort to snap these shots. All weekend I've been feeling so sick and have had the worst migraine ever. On a more positive side, it's been so beautiful in the wild west and by beautiful I mean at least +6 outside which is GREAT. As usual though, the cold front has come back with full vengeance and was just teasing us. At least were not going through the "polar vortex" that back home is dealing with. I'll be honest though, Alberta's winter season is basically always a polar vortex haha.
Anywho, this week we were asked by FASHION Magazine's Style Panel about layering. If you're a Canadian, layering is absolutely essential. It can be -20 in the morning and +7 in the afternoon so it can be tricky to decide on what to wear.To me, I try to go for things that don't bulk me up since I feel like layering can have that effect. I especially love to wear a white button up which goes with everything and then a sweater that can have the shirt peek through! It makes any sweater look instantly chic!

I'm loving the layered look!! It does look warmer in the photos than it's feeling here...but then again, every time I WANT to take photos, it's snowing or so cold and windy that I just can't bring myself to go outside unless completely necessary.
