I've always loved menswear inspired looks, especially when styled with chic feminine twists.
The 424 Fifth line has such a great balance between classic feminine and masculine with a touch of modern. I absolutely fell in love with the bonded mesh tee and the oversized vest. Both pieces are easily transferable between seasons which is a huge plus in my books. As I've gotten older, I've really tried to steer in the direction of "quality over quantity".
The weather was so nice over the weekend that I felt completely comfortable wearing this outfit without a coat or anything which felt great! I did however choose to wear my heels on a very long walk and the result were some blisters which are never fun haha.
What do you guys think of menswear inspired looks & quality over quantity?

I think quality over quantity is a great thing to aspire to - although whenever I take a trip to Zara, all of my good intentions go right out the window ;) Love those pants, the masculine-inspired cut is just perfect.

Love those shoes!!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving everything I'm seeing from 424 Fifth!!
ReplyDeleteI tend to find a good mix between quality and quantity. There's certain things I feel like I just need to spend more on, like a good pair of jeans. As for men's inspired pieces, I love to work that look into my wardrobe and find it's better to spend a bit more to ensure the fit is there...because this look could easily be a horrible one if the components are ill-fitting.
