When it comes to silky pants I feel you either love them or afraid you can't pull them off. There's the fear that you'll look like you're wearing pyjama pants or that you cannot possibly dress them up. Well my friends, I am going to try and change that assumption!
These silk pants from Club Monaco have the added touch of lace panels down the side which give them a dressy tuxedo vibe. Add a button up and a pair of heels and you got yourself a work appropriate outfit that not only looks great but literally feels like you cheated the system and are wearing your pyjamas out of bed!
Some key points for wearing this trend to work, keep it neutral. Bright colours or patterns won't work here unless you're one of the lucky ones who work somewhere super cool and hip. It's important to look for a pant that are more tapered to the body. Harem pants don't work here! One's that can give you a little bit of shape work best to camouflage as work pants. Lastly, look for a pant that are made of a great material. These are 100% silk which give them an elevated appearance!
Would you wear these to work? Hope my tips help you out a bit!
Happy Monday!
