A Girl's Night In

This summer just seems to have flown by hasn't it? One minute it was the beginning and now it's slowly creeping up to Fall it's crazy! Life for me lately has been full of changes, mostly good which I'll talk about soon on the blog (I can't wait to talk about it!). With changes, comes obstacles and the fear of the unknown but at the same time I'm so excited for what's to come in my life! 

I also cannot believe that only a short while ago I was living in the middle of nowhere Alberta not having many friends and completely stuck out as the "odd" one who took pictures of her outfits and posted them online. I've never felt like the outsider my whole life and for that I'm so grateful but it was definitely hard not relating to anyone in that tiny town that shall not be named (It's like the world of Harry Potter and saying Voldemort haha). 

Fast forward a year and a half and I'm here in Calgary and have made so many friends who have the same interests, desires and goals as me and it's SO refreshing. I'm lucky enough to have met some really inspiring girls who are not only completely gorgeous on the outside but even more beautiful on the inside. Although we don't get to see each other all the time, whenever we do it's so wonderful to catch up and see what's new in each others lives. 

When Palm Bay invited us to have a Girl's Night In we all jumped at the chance. Who doesn't like hanging out with your girls, sipping Palm Bay's newest drinks, taking pictures, eating some yummy treats and painting your nails? To make things even better it was all on Katie's wonderful rooftop patio that overlooks the entire city of Calgary! Overall, it was such a fun night catching up and watching the sunset!
